Lake Dem

Lake Dem is a small lake in northern Burkina Faso. It lies north of Kaya, southeast of Lake Bam, and just south of the Sahel Reserve. The lake is about 5 km long and 2 km wide, at an elevation of about 304 meters (997 feet). It drains into the White Volta river. Lake Dem was designated a Ramsar site in 2009, recognizing it as an important wetland.
