Deepa Venkat is an Indian actress and dubbing artist who also works as a radio jockey at Hello FM in Chennai. She was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, and grew up there before making her mark in Tamil cinema and television.

Her career began as a child actress in the 1994 film Paasamalargal. She later became a renowned dubbing artist, lending her voice to many South Indian films in Tamil and Hindi. She dubbed for leading actresses in movies such as Muthu (1995), Ratchagan (1997), Kadhalar Dinam (1999), and Appu (2000). Besides dubbing, she acted in numerous Tamil films and appeared in various TV serials, sometimes working as a stand-in for well-known actresses.

Deepa Venkat has won several awards for her dubbing work, including the Kalaimamani award from Tamil Nadu. She also won multiple JFW Movie Awards for Best Dubbing Artist for roles in Imaikka Nodigal (2019) for Nayanthara, Game Over (2020) for Taapsee Pannu, and Ponniyin Selvan: I (2023) for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. In 2012, she received the Norway Tamil Film Festival Award for Best Dubbing Artist for Mayakkam Enna.

She is widely regarded as a leading dubbing artist, sometimes called the “Lady Superstar of Dubbing.” Her work spans many Tamil and Hindi films, and she continues to act in films and on television while doing voice work.
