Live in San Diego is a live album and DVD by Eric Clapton. It was recorded on March 15, 2007 at the iPayOne Center in San Diego during the Doyle & Derek World Tour, with special guests J. J. Cale, Robert Cray, Doyle Bramhall II and Derek Trucks. The 16-track concert was Clapton’s first new live material with Cray since 1991’s 24 Nights. The album was released on September 30, 2016 (CD) and the DVD followed on March 10, 2017. It’s available on CD, vinyl, and digital formats, and the 2-hour DVD edition was released for the 10th anniversary. The show drew 10,911 attendees and grossed about $837,570. The first single from the release, “They Call Me the Breeze,” came out in 2014 with concert footage, and additional clips were released in 2016. Critics praised the performances, noting the strong chemistry between Clapton and Cale and the energy of the band.
