Cho Dae-seong
Cho Dae-seong (조대성), born 13 October 2002, is a South Korean table tennis player. He is 178 cm tall, plays left-handed with a shakehand grip, and competes for Ryukyu Asteeda in the T.League. He has won several doubles titles on ITTF and WTT tours since 2019. In 2023, he defeated Mattias Falck and Fan Zhendong in the early rounds of the WTT Star Contender Goa before losing in the round of 16 to Lin Shidong. He claimed his first two singles titles at the WTT Feeder events in 2024. He has medals from major events, including the 2022 World Championships (team, Chengdu), the 2023 World Cup (doubles, Durban), the 2024 Asian Championships (team, Astana), and the 2025 World University Games (doubles, Rhine-Ruhr). Cho was part of Korea’s Olympic team for Paris 2024, and he has been ranked as high as No. 19 in the world (7 January 2025); as of 12 January 2026 he is No. 48.
