Litoria gasconi
Litoria gasconi is a frog that lives only in New Guinea. It is listed as Least Concern by the IUCN. This species belongs to the animal kingdom, chordates, amphibians, and is in the order Anura (frogs) and the family Hylidae, genus Litoria, subfamily Pelodryadinae. The scientific name is Litoria gasconi, described in 2009 by Richards, Oliver, Krey and Tjaturadi. Adult male frogs measure about 39–42 millimeters from snout to vent. Litoria gasconi has large eyes with vertical pupils. Its color is green with yellow spots, and parts of its legs and groin area are bright orange.
