Stefania marahuaquensis
Stefania marahuaquensis is a small frog in the Hemiphractidae family. It is found only in Venezuela, on two mountains—Cerro Duida and Cerro Marahuaca—in Amazonas state. The frog lives on rocks along the forest edge of small streams, at elevations from about 340 to 1,200 meters above sea level. Its range is inside Duida–Marahuaca National Park, and no major threats are known. It was first described in 1961 by Rivero and has also been called Hyla marahuaquensis.
