Dieuseul Berto (March 24, 1958 – December 29, 2018) was a Haitian‑American professional wrestler and mixed martial artist. He was the father of boxers Andre Berto and James Edson Berto. Born in Modle, Haiti, he moved to Florida in 1980. He worked picking fruit and in the restaurant industry before starting martial arts. He trained in Shotokan Karate and Jeet Kune Do and became known in wrestling as “The Caribbean Kid.”

Berto began professional wrestling in 1992 and worked in Japan for Pro Wrestling Fujiwara Gumi until 1994. His notable win was over Katsumi Usuda. He wrestled for Fighting Network Rings on September 10, 1993, losing to Masayuki Naruse, and last wrestled for Battlarts in 1996 before retiring from wrestling that year.

In mixed martial arts, he fought at UFC 10 in 1996 and was knocked out by Geza Kalman. He returned for one more fight on November 17, 2001, losing to Chris Kaouk. After leaving fighting, he opened a gym called Tigers World of Martial Arts in 1996, teaching MMA and fitness.

Berto suffered a serious car crash in 1998, which left him badly injured and using a wheelchair for a time, though he later walked again. He died on December 29, 2018, at age 60 after an illness. In 2021, he was inducted into the Florida MMA Hall of Fame.
