The Catholic Church in Denmark has no ecclesiastical province or national bishops’ conference; all sees are exempt and report directly to the Holy See. The Danish Latin bishops participate in the Episcopal Conference of Scandinavia.

Eastern Catholics in Denmark are served by a transnational Apostolic Exarchate based in Germany.

There is a formal Apostolic Nunciature to Denmark, but it is vested in the Apostolic Nunciature to Sweden (in Djursholm), which also covers Norway, Finland and Iceland.

All Latin sees in Denmark are titular bishoprics only, with the current structures existing as precursors to former sees.
