Barbie has appeared in more than 40 CGI-animated and streaming films since 2001. The movies started as fairy‑tale adventures and later expanded to stories about friendship, family, music, fashion, and self‑confidence. Barbie has played many roles—princesses, fairies, singers, surfers, and even herself—often guiding stories that mix magic with everyday life.
