Alonzo Mitz
Alonzo Mitz (born June 5, 1963) is a former American football defensive end who played in the NFL for seven seasons in the 1980s and early 1990s. He was born in Henderson, North Carolina, and grew up in Fort Pierce, Florida, where he played high school football at Fort Pierce Central High School.
Mitz played college football for the Florida Gators from 1982 to 1985. He was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the eighth round of the 1986 NFL Draft (211th overall). He stayed with Seattle from 1986 to 1989, then finished his NFL career with the Cincinnati Bengals in 1990 and 1991.
In 71 career NFL games (34 starts), Mitz recorded 8 sacks, 2 interceptions, and 3 fumble recoveries.
