He spent the 2019/20 season chasing briefly but then returned to hurdles, finishing third in the Cleeve Hurdle before recording his big moment in March 2020 when he won the Stayers' Hurdle at Cheltenham by two lengths.

After the Stayers' Hurdle success he underwent surgery to correct a breathing problem. In the 2020/21 season he failed to win, finishing fourth at Wetherby, seventh in the Long Distance Hurdle at Newbury, and second in the Rendlesham Hurdle at Haydock before attempting to defend his Cheltenham crown but falling at the seventh hurdle.
