Rudicetus

Rudicetus is an extinct genus of toothed whales known from skull fossils. It belongs to the family Kentriodontidae. The only named species is Rudicetus squalodontoides, which was first described in 1878 as Priscodelphinus squalodontoides. The genus Rudicetus was established by Bianucci in 2001. The full scientific name of the species is Rudicetus squalodontoides.
