28 Years Later: The Bone Temple (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) is the film score by Hildur Guðnadóttir for the 2026 movie directed by Nia DaCosta. It’s the fourth film in the 28 Days Later series and a sequel to 2025’s 28 Years Later. The soundtrack was released by Milan Records on January 16, 2026—the same day the film hit theaters. The score runs 34 minutes and 48 seconds and was recorded in 2025.

Guðnadóttir, who also worked with DaCosta on Hedda (2025), says her music leans toward darkness, contrasting with her everyday life. The Bone Temple soundtrack also features several pre-existing songs: Duran Duran’s Ordinary World, Girls on Film and Rio appear in Dr. Kelson’s record collection, Iron Maiden’s The Number of the Beast is used in climactic scenes, and Radiohead contributes to the film’s atmosphere. John Murphy’s classic In the House – In a Heartbeat from the original 28 Days Later is heard in the end credits.

Critics praised the score for its intense, atmospheric horror mood. They describe it as a blend of orchestral and electronic textures that creates a sense of unease and darkness, with some noting an organic, percussive feel reminiscent of the Bone Temple itself.
