Charles Monteiro
Charles Pereira Mendes Monteiro (born 25 May 1994 in São Tomé) is a São Toméan footballer who plays as a left back for Vilafranquense in Portugal. He is 1.80 m tall.
He played in the Sacavenense youth system from 2010 to 2013. He began his senior career in 2013 with Vilafranquense in the Lisbon FA Honour Division. By May 2016, he had made 70 league appearances and scored 3 goals for the club.
Monteiro made his debut for the São Tomé and Príncipe national team on 4 June 2016 in a 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match, a 2–1 defeat to Cape Verde.
