Lim Hyun-chul (born May 12, 1995) is a South Korean amateur boxer who competes in light-welterweight and welterweight. He won bronze at the 2015 Asian Championships and silver at the 2014 Asian Games.

He was born in Daejeon, South Korea, and is one minute older than his twin brother Lim Hyun-suk. They grew up sporty, starting with football after the 2002 World Cup. Hyun-chul began boxing in middle school after a PE teacher suggested it, and his father agreed to let them train as long as they never quit and never fight each other, so they always box in different divisions.

As a teenager he won several junior/youth national titles and joined the Korean national team in 2014. He made his international debut at the Chemistry Cup in Germany, losing in the quarterfinals to Vitaly Dunaytsev.

In 2014 he won a silver medal at the Asian Games in Incheon in the light-welterweight division, after three straight wins and a close final against Wuttichai Masuk.

In 2015 he earned silver at the Golden Belt Tournament in Romania and bronze at the Chemistry Cup. He reached the semifinals at the Asian Championships, where he again lost to Masuk, earning bronze. At the 2015 World Championships in Doha, he was eliminated in the first round by Hovhannes Bachkov.

In 2018 he won bronze at the Beogradski Pobednik tournament in Serbia and reached the Asian Games quarterfinals, losing to eventual gold medalist Bobo-Usmon Baturov. In 2019 he finished as runner-up at the Thailand Open International Tournament, losing to Masuk in the final, and at the World Championships he defeated Thulasi Tharumalingam before losing to Filip Wąchała.
