Lialis
Lialis is a genus of legless lizards in the family Pygopodidae. They are native to Australia and New Guinea. These lizards mainly eat skinks. They have hinged teeth and flexible skull joints that let them swallow prey whole. Lialis species lay eggs (oviparous). There are two valid species in the genus. One well-known species is Lialis burtonis, commonly called Burton’s legless lizard.
