The 2024 Queensland Reds season was the team’s 28th in the Super Rugby era, continuing the Reds’ presence in Super Rugby Pacific. They played across Australia and New Zealand, hosted Wales on a short tour after the season, and then toured Tonga with a development team.

Brad Thorn had resigned as coach at the end of 2023, and Les Kiss was appointed the new head coach, announced in late July. Kiss brought in much of his London Irish coaching staff. His appointment came after a broad coaching search that included candidates such as Michael Cheika, Toutai Kefu, Brad Mooar, Nathan Grey, and Mick Heenan; Kiss was chosen from more than 40 contenders.

The Reds finished 5th in Super Rugby Pacific and made the Finals for the third year in a row, reaching the quarter-finals. Their best home crowd was 17,782 against the ACT Brumbies on 30 March, with the lowest home attendance 10,864 against the Melbourne Rebels on 10 May. The average home league attendance was 14,516. The season’s standout result was a 59-13 win over the Western Force at home on 25 May, while their biggest defeat came at 43-21 to the Chiefs away on 7 June.

The Reds announced their squad for the season in November 2023.
