The 5th federal electoral district of Hidalgo is one of 300 districts used to elect deputies to Mexico’s Chamber of Deputies. It is one of seven Hidalgo districts and elects one deputy every three years by a first-past-the-post system. Its head town (cabecera distrital) is the El Llano neighborhood of Tula de Allende. The district population was 470,382 in the 2020 census.

As of the 2024 general election, the deputy for the district is Astrit Viridiana Cornejo Gómez of Morena.
