Audelais of Benevento

Audelais (also Adelais or Andelais) seized the duchy of Benevento for two years after Romuald II died. He overthrew Romuald’s son and heir, Gisulf II. The Lombard king Liutprand then arrived, removed both Gisulf and Audelais, and appointed his own choice, Gregory, as the new duke.
