Leon Cameron (born 2 September 1972) is a former Australian rules footballer and coach. He played in the AFL from 1990 to 2003, totaling 256 games for the Western Bulldogs (1990–1999) and Richmond (2000–2003). Recruited from South Warrnambool, he was the No. 7 pick in the 1988 national draft. His on-field role was a wing/defender, and he was 185 cm tall and weighed 82 kg. He won the Charles Sutton Medal in 1993 and was named The Age Footballer of the Year in 1995.

After retiring, Cameron moved into coaching. He was an assistant coach at the Western Bulldogs (2004–2010) and then at Hawthorn (2010–2012), helping Hawthorn reach the 2012 Grand Final. He joined Greater Western Sydney as senior assistant in 2013 and became the Giants’ senior coach in 2014.

During his time as GWS coach, the team made finals repeatedly, including a Grand Final appearance in 2019 (lost to Richmond). He resigned as GWS senior coach on 12 May 2022 and was replaced by assistant coach Mark McVeigh as caretaker for the rest of the season. Cameron’s farewell came after a Round 9 match against Carlton, which GWS lost by 30 points.
