Sinar Harian is a Malay-language daily compact newspaper published in Shah Alam, Malaysia. It was launched on 31 July 2006 by Kumpulan Karangkraf through Sinar Karangkraf Sdn Bhd. It started with East Coast coverage and expanded nationwide by September 2007. The price was RM1.80 in 2025. The paper focuses on regional news and community issues.

In 2020, Sinar Harian launched Sinar Daily, its English-language digital edition. Mobile apps were added in 2021. Since 2012, it has run town hall forums, though some critics say panel representation has been uneven, with about 60% of 2015–2020 speakers tied to the ruling coalition.

The newspaper is known for its strong regional coverage, with more than half of its content coming from local pull-out sections. By 2024, there are four regional editions. It uses district reporters called “Skuad Cakna” in each area, a practice described in its 2021 editorial guidelines.

During the 2013 People’s Uprising rally, Sinar Harian provided comparatively neutral coverage versus competitors. A Universiti Malaya study cited this as an example of editorial independence from government-linked media.
