Perry Township is one of fifteen townships in Wayne County, Indiana. It was mainly settled by Quakers. The township covers about 17.44 square miles (45.2 km2), with 17.43 square miles (45.1 km2) of land and only 0.01 square miles (0.026 km2) of water. Elevation is about 1,145 feet.

As of the 2010 census, 835 people lived there, with 325 housing units. The population was about 820 in 2020.

Lakes and streams: Osborne Lakes are in the township. Several rivers and creeks flow through it, including Economy Run, Jordon Creek, Mop Run, Swab Creek, Wash Branch, and West Brook.

Cemeteries: The township contains two cemeteries, Economy and Jordon.
