Lee Paterson

Lee Paterson (born 5 July 1981 in Castleford, Yorkshire, England) is a former Scotland international rugby league player. He was 6 ft 1 in tall and weighed about 92 kg, and could play on the wing, in the centre, at stand-off or loose forward.

Club career:
Paterson began with the Keighley Cougars (2002-04), then York City Knights (2005-06), where he helped win the 2005 National League Two title. He went on to play for Batley Bulldogs (2007), French club Carpentras XIII (2007-08), Widnes Vikings (2008-09), and had a spell in Australia with the Mackay Cutters. He returned to Carpentras XIII (2010-11), then played for Whitehaven (2013), York City Knights again (2014), and Newcastle Thunder (2014).

International career:
Paterson played for Scotland from 2007 to 2012, earning 12 caps and scoring 3 tries and 4 goals. He was part of Scotland’s squad for the 2008 Rugby League World Cup.
