Lebia viridis is a small predatory ground beetle in the Carabidae family. It is 5–7 mm long and active during the day. It lives in North America, Guatemala, Mexico, and Cuba, and is often found on flowers and vegetation. Scientific classification: Kingdom Animalia; Phylum Arthropoda; Class Insecta; Order Coleoptera; Suborder Adephaga; Family Carabidae; Genus Lebia; Species Lebia viridis. Binomial name Lebia viridis (Say, 1823).
