Shun Yashiro

Shun Yashiro (born Motohiro Suzuki) was a Japanese actor and voice actor. He was born on February 19, 1933, in Tsuyama, Okayama, and died on June 25, 2003, at age 70 from a stroke. He used several names during his career, including Tetsuya Yashiro and Kazuo Yashiro, and he worked with Theater Echo from 1960 until his death. Yashiro was best known for voice roles such as Nishihajime in Inakappe Taishō, Morocco Mole in Secret Squirrel, Tom Cat in the TBS version of Tom and Jerry, Suneo Honekawa in the 1973 Doraemon, and Winnie-the-Pooh in Disney productions. He also did many other Disney and Pixar roles and studied at Meiji University’s School of Political Science and Economics.
