Sainte-Gemme-Martaillac is a small commune in south-western France, in the Lot-et-Garonne department of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. It covers 114 square kilometers and had 377 residents in 2023, making it sparsely populated. The landscape ranges from 58 to 156 meters above sea level (about 80 meters on average).

The commune is part of the Marmande arrondissement and the canton of Les Forêts de Gascogne, within the Coteaux et Landes de Gascogne intercommunality. The mayor for 2020–2026 is Christine Merlin-Chabot. The postal code is 47250 and the INSEE code is 47244. The local Occitan name is Senta Gema e Martalhac. The ruins of a church can be seen in Martaillac.
