Lake Sevettijärvi
Lake Sevettijärvi is a medium-sized lake in the Lapland region of Finland, in the Näätämöjoki main catchment. On the western shore is the village Sevettijärvi, where most residents are Skolt Sami people. The lake’s inflows are the Nilijoki river and Nilijärvi, and its outflow goes to Lake Jänisjärvi. It covers 17.9 square kilometers, with an average depth of 8.72 meters and a maximum depth of 43.49 meters. The water volume is about 0.156 cubic kilometers. The shoreline is around 184.5 kilometers long and the surface sits at 95.6 meters above sea level. Coordinates: 69°33′50″N 28°42′36″E.
