Ladbroke Road
Ladbroke Road is a street in Notting Hill, London. It runs from Portland Road to Kensington Park Road. The Mercury Theatre was based at No. 2 from 1933 until it closed in 1987. The building dates from 1851 and was originally a Sunday school; it is now a private home. In 2019, Horbury Villa at No. 85 sold for £32 million by William Woodward-Fisher to the daughter of Georgian billionaire Badri Patarkatsishvili. In 2025 a High Court ruling said the new owners were due a full refund because the sale involved an undeclared moth infestation.
