Lacinutrix venerupis

Lacinutrix venerupis is a species of bacteria from the genus Lacinutrix in the Flavobacteriaceae family. It is Gram-negative, strictly aerobic (needs oxygen to grow), and non-motile (it does not move on its own). This bacterium was isolated from clams found in Galicia, Spain. It was described in 2016 by Lasa and colleagues, and its type strain is Cmf 20.8.
