Lost and Found is a 2008 Chinese black comedy directed by Ma Liwen, based on Liu Zhenyun's novel I am Liu Yuejin. The film stars Li Yixiang as Liu Yuejin, a poor migrant worker from Henan who works as a cook in Beijing. When he helps his boss Yan (Liu Xinyi) cover up a possible scandal, Liu's life changes after his savings are stolen along with an IOU for 60,000 yuan owed to a man who has taken Liu's wife. A thief later breaks into Yan's home and steals a disc with compromising material, pulling Liu into a tangle of private investigators, mobsters and danger. Liu's son and girlfriend (Zhang Zhiwei and Wang Man) show up asking for money, making the situation worse. The film also features cameos by directors Chen Daming and Gao Qunshu, and was partially produced by China Film Group. It runs 89 minutes, is in Mandarin, and was released in China on January 18, 2008.
