La Libertad Province
La Libertad Province is a part of Boyacá Department in Colombia. It covers about 1,890 square kilometers and has four municipalities: Labranzagrande, Pajarito, Paya, and Pisba. The capital is Labranzagrande. The province is home to several Indigenous groups, including the Achagua, Guahibo, Muisca, and U'wa. Its name comes from the liberty gained after independence from the Spanish Empire. In Pisba there is a statue honoring coffee farmers.
