Léogâne Arrondissement, also known as Awondisman Leyogàn, is in the Ouest Department of Haiti. It covers about 1,015.9 square kilometers (392 square miles). The urban area is 18.83 km2 and the rural area makes up the rest. In 2015, about 509,280 people lived there (324,475 urban and 184,805 rural). The population density is around 501 people per square kilometer. The time zone is UTC-5 (Eastern). Postal codes start with 62. The arrondissement has three communes: Léogâne, Petit-Goâve, and Grand-Goâve, with 32 communal sections. The IHSI code is 012.

In 2010, a magnitude-7.0 earthquake struck the area. Léogâne city was estimated to be 80–90% destroyed. Petit Goâve was also greatly affected, and all public buildings in Grand-Goâve were destroyed. The Haitian Creole name for Léogâne is Leyogàn.
