Tomboy and the Champ
Tomboy and the Champ is a 1961 American Western drama directed by Francis D. Lyon. It stars Candy Moore, Ben Johnson, and Jesse White. The story follows a young Texas girl who has polio and cares for her pet calf. She enters the calf in the Chicago International Exposition, where the calf wins a prize. But the calf is to be auctioned for slaughter, until a kind meat packer intervenes, and the girl and calf are reunited. The film runs 82 minutes, is in English, and was released by Universal Pictures on April 1, 1961.
