Kwaya is a village and rural commune in the Magaria Department, Zinder Region, Niger. It covers 83.9 square miles (217.4 square kilometers). As of the 2012 census, its population was 32,510, giving a population density of about 387 people per square mile (149.5 per square kilometer). The area is in the UTC+1 time zone. Its approximate coordinates are 13°06′17″N, 8°37′42″E.
