Gabon at the 1972 Summer Olympics
Gabon made its Olympic debut at the 1972 Summer Games in Munich, West Germany, from August 26 to September 11. The country was represented by one athlete, Joseph Mbouroukounda, who competed in the men's featherweight boxing event. The flag bearer was Matias Moussobou. Gabon did not win any medals in 1972.
