Kiss Shite Hoshii, also known as I Want a Kiss, is the third single by the Japanese punk rock band The Blue Hearts. It was released on November 21, 1987, the same day as their second album Young and Pretty. The song was written by Hiroto Kōmoto, with arrangement by The Blue Hearts, and the single lasts 9 minutes 17 seconds. The B-side is Chain Gang, a blues-rock track written and sung by guitarist Masatoshi Mashima. At the start, bassist Junnosuke Kawaguchi sings in falsetto. A promotional animated video was made for Chain Gang, with Kōmoto as a monkey, Mashima as a penguin, Kawaguchi as a pig, and drummer Tetsuya Kajiwara as a polar bear. Chain Gang was originally planned for the debut album but was left out due to concerns about its lyrics, especially the line about killing Christ. The single was rereleased on February 6, 2002.
