Hospital Records is a British independent record label based in Shoreditch, East London. It started in 1996, founded by Tony Colman (London Elektricity) and Chris Goss. The label mainly releases drum and bass and related electronic styles. It distributes physical releases through Proper Music Distribution and digital releases through Believe Music. Its website is hospitalrecords.com.

The label has released music from artists such as Netsky, Camo & Krooked, Logistics, Nu:Tone, Metrik, Fred V & Grafix, High Contrast, and S. P. Y, among others, covering a wide range of the drum and bass genre. Hospital Records also runs publishing through Songs in the Key of Knife and operates its worldwide events brand, Hospitality. Until 2019, it also ran an experimental label called Med School Music.

Hospitality is the label’s event brand, often featuring multiple Hospital artists. Notable Hospitality events have included Hospitality Brixton, Hospitality In The Woods, and Hospitality On The Beach. In 2014 the label celebrated its 18th birthday by revisiting venues used for previous Hospitality events. In 2017, to mark 21 years, the label released a best-of compilation called We are 21 and ran a big year of shows, including Hospitality in the Park at London’s Finsbury Park, which grew to a 12,500 capacity with eight arenas. Hospitality in the Park returned for the following two years, and a major indoor event, Hospitality in the Dock, took place at the Tobacco Dock in April 2017.

Hospitality on the Beach happened in Croatia at The Garden Resort in 2018 and continued in 2019 and 2020. Hospital Records also releases compilation albums under the Hospitality name, featuring tracks from label artists and guests, mixed by famous DJs.

In May 2020, Hospital Records expressed support for Soulvent Records, which later became an imprint of the label in June 2022. The publishing side, Songs in the Key Of Knife, works with publishers such as Fairwood Music Ltd, Nichion Inc, and Westbury Music Ltd to help writers grow their careers, with some writers connected to Hospital Records and others not.

In 2015, Hospital created Clinic Talent, its in-house booking agency that handles bookings for a range of DJs and live acts, including some signed to Hospital. Blu Mar Ten manages Clinic Talent. A separate newcomers imprint started in 2006, signing acts like S.P.Y, Keeno, and Etherwood, but it ceased operations in 2019.

Hospital Records also runs a podcast started by Tony Colman, who often featured label artists or up-and-coming producers. From April 2022, Degs, an artist signed to Hospital, became the main host. The label’s podcast won the BT Digital Music Award for Best Podcast in 2006, 2007, and 2008. The label and its founders have appeared in the in-game radio of Forza Horizon 2 to 4, and Degs took over hosting for Forza Horizon 5. Hospital Records has won the Best Label title at the Drum & Bass Arena Awards in 2009–2011 and 2014–2021.
