National Alternative Dispute Resolution Advisory Council (NADRAC) was an Australian independent body that advised the Attorney-General on policy for alternative dispute resolution (ADR). It started in October 1995 and ended in late 2013. Its work followed its charter. NADRAC was independent and non-statutory, funded by the Attorney-General's Department. It gave expert policy advice on developing ADR and helped promote its use. The council finished when the government decided to simplify and streamline government business. NADRAC contributed a lot to ADR in Australia by publishing reports and papers.
