Kingo Sunen
Kingo Sunen is a Marvel Comics character from the group called the Eternals. He was created by Jack Kirby and first appeared in The Eternals #11 (May 1977).
Kingo is an Eternal, a nearly immortal being created by Celestials on Earth about a million years ago. He spent centuries in Japan studying the samurai way and became one of the best swordsmen in the world. In modern times, he is a famous action movie star in Japan.
After Sprite mind-wipes the Eternals, Kingo returns as a major Japanese film icon who is also an actor, director, and producer. He is shown making a film in San Francisco starring the Blob and is drawn to the Dreaming Celestial.
Powers and weapons: Like other Eternals, Kingo is immortal and has super strength, can fly, project energy, and manipulate molecules. He usually fights with a sword forged by Phastos that can cut through nearly anything, instead of using his other powers.
In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Kingo appears in the 2021 film Eternals and in the 2024 What If...? episode “What If... Agatha Went to Hollywood?”, played by Kumail Nanjiani.
