King Boat Cultural Museum
King Boat Cultural Museum (王船文化館) is a museum in Donggang Township, Pingtung County, Taiwan. Planning began in 2018 to preserve the King Boat ceremony culture, and the museum opened in 2024. The groundbreaking took place on December 22, 2021, officiated by Pan Men-an, the Pingtung County Magistrate. The building’s design resembles a ship on the sea, with a top opening that represents the eye of a dragon and wavy lines at the bottom to symbolize waves. It is located at coordinates 22°27′49.4″N 120°27′36.1″E (22.463722°N, 120.460028°E). The museum includes a theater, an audiovisual room, a library, and a classroom.
