Kilton, Nottinghamshire
Kilton is a large suburb in the northeast of Worksop, a town in Nottinghamshire, England. It has several big housing areas built after World War II, including some council estates. Since the late 19th century, Kilton was home to Kilton Hospital on Memorial Avenue in Worksop, next to Victoria Hospital. The hospital closed in the late 1980s and mainly treated maternity patients. The main old building, a yellow brick structure with a stag image on its front, is now part of Bassetlaw District General Hospital and is used as the administration block, with the new hospital behind it.
