Gration (giant)

Gration (Γρατίων) is a giant from Greek mythology. His name may be a corrupted form. He was born from Gaia and Uranus. In some versions Artemis kills him, with Heracles shooting arrows in his death throe; in others, Heracles kills him alone. One story says Gration owned a two-headed dog. Several alternative names have been proposed for him, including Aigaion (Αἰγαίων), Eurytion (Εὐρυτίων), and Rhaion (Ῥαίων).
