Aesthetica of a Rogue Hero is a Japanese light novel series written by Tetsuto Uesu and illustrated by Tamago no Kimi. It was published by Hobby Japan under the HJ Bunko imprint from May 1, 2010, to February 28, 2013, and it runs for 11 volumes.

A manga adaptation by Haiji Nakasone appeared in Comic Dangan from January 20, 2012, to June 21, 2013, and was collected into 3 volumes. The English license for the manga is Manga Planet.

An anime adaptation by Arms aired 12 episodes from July 6 to September 21, 2012. It was licensed in North America by Funimation, and after Sony acquired Crunchyroll, the series moved to Crunchyroll. The opening song is "Realization" by Faylan, and the ending song is "Ai no Sei de Nemurenai" by Aki Misato. Seven short bonus episodes, titled "Hajirai Ippai" (0–6), were included with the Blu-ray releases.

The story is set in a world where some people are taken to a magical realm called Alayzard (Areizādo). Those who survive return with magical powers. An international training group named Babel teaches these returnees to use their abilities. The plot follows Akatsuki, a rogue hero who comes back to his world with Miu, the daughter of the Last Dark Lord he defeated.
