KQSC
KQSC (1530 AM) is a radio station licensed to Colorado Springs, Colorado. It broadcasts during the day with 15,000 watts and can be heard from the outskirts of Denver to the New Mexico border. It also uses FM translators at 97.7 FM in Pueblo and 107.3 FM in Colorado Springs.
The station has a long history, starting on February 9, 1964 as KRYT and later using call signs KXXV, KKCS, and KCMN before becoming KKHI in 2015. Kona Coast Radio bought KKHI in 2015, and the station briefly went silent before changing its call sign to KQSC on October 16, 2015. Mountain Radio Group Inc. acquired KQSC in December 2015 for $200,000 and launched Mountain Country 1530, a country music format, on January 1, 2016. On November 11, 2024, KQSC switched to a simulcast of KDZA 1230 AM in Pueblo, airing classic hits.
