Nillup, Western Australia
Nillup is a small town in the South West region of Western Australia, in the Shire of Augusta-Margaret River. It covers about 36.9 square kilometres (14.2 square miles) and had a population of 61 in 2021. The postcode is 6288. Nillup sits at about 34.1325°S, 115.2642°E. The name Nillup comes from reversing the surname of Harold Maughan Pullin, a popular local who did not want the town named after him. It is part of the Warren-Blackwood state electorate and the Forrest federal division.
