Juan Violá (1883–1919) was a Cuban baseball player who played as an outfielder, third baseman, and first baseman. Born in Havana, he batted and threw right-handed. From 1902 to 1915, he played in the Cuban League, the Negro leagues, and the minor leagues for teams including Almendares, Habana, the Long Branch Cubans, and the Jacksonville Jays. He was elected to the Cuban Baseball Hall of Fame in 1953. In US newspapers his name appeared as Viola, while in Cuba it was Violá; his US naturalization papers list his full name as Juan Violat Piedra. His parents were Luis Violat and Cristina Piedra.
