Arkansas Policy Foundation
Arkansas Policy Foundation (APF) is a conservative think tank based in Little Rock, Arkansas. Established in 1995, its executive director is Greg Kaza. APF emphasizes tax policy and education reform. From 1996 to 1999, APF produced the Murphy Commission report, a thorough review of state government. The organization has offered recommendations on education reform, ethics reform, and health care, and it supports tax and spending cuts, including reducing the sales tax on groceries. In December 2015, Governor Asa Hutchinson asked APF to conduct another statewide efficiency review to examine government efficiency. In FY 2023, revenue was $96,600 and expenses were $115,000.
