Joyce Godenzi
Joyce Mina Godenzi (born 28 May 1965) is a Hong Kong former actress and the winner of Miss Hong Kong 1984. Born in British Hong Kong to an Australian father and Chinese mother, she was encouraged by her modeling agency to enter Miss Hong Kong, which she won along with the Miss Photogenic award.
She later competed in Miss Universe 1984 in Miami and earned third prize in the national costume event but did not place overall. After her pageant success, Godenzi began an acting career, appearing in several action films and often partnering with Sammo Hung. She was nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the 1988 Hong Kong Film Awards for Eastern Condors. She retired from acting in 1991.
Godenzi married Chan Chee Fah in 1992 (divorced 1994) and then married Sammo Hung in 1995. She is a Jehovah's Witness, a faith she grew up with and has written about in her later life.
