Barntown (Irish: Baile an Bharúnaigh) is a village and townland in County Wexford, Ireland, just outside the town of Wexford. In 2022, its population was 505. East of the village lie the remains of Barntown Castle, a Norman tower house built by the Roche family in the 15th or 16th century. It was used as a watchtower and storehouse for Ferrycarrig Castle. The main parish church is St Alphonsus Church, designed by Augustus Welby Pugin and built in 1848 by Very Rev Patrick Murphy. In 1885 Barntown joined with the parish of Cummers to form the Cummers-Barntown GAA club.
