John Golemgeske
John William Golemgeske (November 14, 1915 – December 22, 1958) was an American football player who played on the offensive line in the NFL as a tackle and guard. He played for the Brooklyn Dodgers from 1937 to 1940 after being drafted in the 6th round of the 1937 NFL Draft, 53rd overall. Golemgeske attended Waukesha High School in Wisconsin and then the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He stood 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighed 225 pounds. In his NFL career, he appeared in 42 games and started 26. He died at age 43 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, from a heart attack that occurred the day before.
